PATEO, the Hong Kong-listed Chinese automotive supplier, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Arm to work on physical AI for cars. The two signed in Shanghai on September 22. PATEO calls itself a Tier 1 supplier with “software, hardware, chip and cloud” capabilities. Its core business is intelligent cockpits and connected-car systems for Chinese automakers. Arm designs the processor architecture inside most automotive chips. What they’ll work on The MoU covers next-generation AI workloads in the vehicle, meaning systems that perceive and interact rather than just respond.

Qunnect, a quantum networking company based in Brooklyn and Washington, D.C., has published a white paper called “Entanglement for Security Beyond QKD.” It also detailed a growing set of federal contracts. Quantum key distribution (QKD) has been quantum networking’s main security selling point for years. Qunnect’s argument is that entanglement can do more than hand out encryption keys. “Five years ago, we set out to develop quantum networking security applications that could go beyond distributing encryption keys,” says CEO Noel Goddard.

Sivers Semiconductors, the Swedish photonics and wireless chip company listed in Stockholm, is reshaping its leadership team. WhiteFiber has launched Continuum, a networking architecture that makes two separate data centers work as a single GPU supercluster. The first deployment connects two QTS facilities 83 kilometers apart. It’s commercially available now. How it’s built The two sites are linked by 12 strands of Zayo dark fiber carrying 136 Tbps, with a guaranteed round-trip latency of 0.9 milliseconds. DriveNets supplies the AI networking fabric across the link. WEKA’s NeuralMesh provides a shared storage and memory layer so both sites see the same data.

A 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner one, with Touch ID, Apple Pencil support, and an iOS 27 rebuilt around multitasking that adjusts to screen size and orientation.
